Hi, I haven't seen too many strength losses, but not much progression either, expected that since I'm on a 500 kcal deficit. Would doing 5/3/1 BBB during a cut be optimal? I heard doing strength programs on a cut tends to maintain your strength. Also, compared to PHAT, 5/3/1 BBB has a ridiculous lack of volume (or atleast to me). Doing a compound lift 5/3/1 style, then two accessories both 5x10 seem so little, Im in and out of the gym in less than 40 minutes give or take. With PHAT, it would take me almost 1.5 hours. I'm additionally doing leangains, I'm carb cycling, but instead of recomping, I'm sticking to a deficit until I lean out. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
